Health Fair, “WS l(i)ebt gesund! (WS lives/loves healthily) Gemeinsam gesund und bewusst leben.” (WS lives/loves healthily. Living healthily and consciously together)
On 11 May 2017 we held our first in-company health fair. The following exhibitors were present:

  • Neher bikes
  • Lebenshilfe
  • Cosmetic institute Haut & Seele

Spread out over the entire company grounds, the various stands offered interesting information, great promotions and valuable tips concerning the topics: Health, sports and social affairs. You could demonstrate your balance and reaction times in various test, or to be delighted by optical illusions. Anyone who wanted to do so could have his/her skin analysed, their blood sugar or blood pressure measured, or take a ride on one of the e-bikes being exhibited. The members of the steering committee catered to physical well-being. They provided the workforce with homemade, delicious and healthy smoothies, among other things. Lebenshilfe’s café bar was a highlight for everyone who loves caffeine and for coffee bean fans.

We can look back on an eventful day with many impressions, informative talks and great experiences.

After-Work Cooking: “Spain” and After Work Christmas Baking
As part of our monthly After-Work Cooking event, we took a culinary excursion to Spain in April. Led by a colleague, employees conjured paella as well as tortillas and learned different tricks when preparing them. The most varied sensory impressions perfected the Spanish flair and created the sense of being on holiday.
The convivial table with delicious food allowed everyone to enjoy the well-earned right to call it a day.
After Work Christmas Baking
We turned our cantine into a Christmas bakery on two evenings for the pre-Christmas period, and baked a total of 5,000 Christmas biscuits together with some of our employees in a jolly atmosphere. These were then packed in festive wrapping and passed on to our employees to give to Father Christmas.
