- The power consumption can be significantly reduced thanks to the ec technology. The Silvento ec is also quieter than its predecessor, as it is considerably more efficient and can be operated with a reduced volume flow.
The functions of the Silvento ec can be selected via two control boards (not included):
Basic board (order no. 98 029 67): 7 adjustable ventilation levels between 15 and 60 m³/h, overrun, interval switching and switch-on delay
Comfort board (order no. 98 029 68): Same function as the basic board, but with moisture and temperature sensor.
Both boards can also be retrofitted with a plug-in motion sensor.
The Silvento ec is available in 2 versions.
Version 1: As fan insert combined with Lunos flush-mounted housing
Version 2: Clamp-in fan for direct mounting in drywall panel cut-outs

- The e2 models work on the principle of regenerative heat exchangers. The storage stone sits in the centre of the air flow of an EC axial fan. The plastic (PLA) is charged with thermal energy from the room air by a reversing air flow, which is created by a targeted change in direction of the fan, and releases it back into the incoming outside air. This happens so efficiently that up to 96% of the heat energy contained in the air is recovered. The combination of e² and ego ensures one hundred per cent ventilation and Deaerators with heat recovery throughout the house and is ideal for KFW houses.

- The ego is a heat recovery device that is primarily intended for functional rooms, such as bathrooms and kitchens. Paired operation is not necessary, as the ego autonomously ensures supply and exhaust air with heat recovery. At peak times, in the evenings for instance, it also has an exhaust air mode for rapid extraction of odours and moisture. The ego features two fans that are constantly working in opposite directions, and guarantee simultaneous supply and exhaust air. The storage brick sits in the middle of the air flow of two EC motors. Thanks to the reversing air flow generated by the targeted directional change of the fans, the ceramic becomes charged with the heat energy from the ambient air, and emits it into the outside air.
